FAQ

Why Digital?
Why not?
I have years of traditional albums stowed away in the attic.
I am not fond of dusting and did away with bookshelves clutter when we moved and will not ever go back to having so much stuff.

Do you design your own products?
Yes. I design and create in photoshop. I will occasionally take a snapshot of my computer and post to instagram as a sneak peek.

Do you print photos and digital layouts?
Yes. For frames or wall art. You can see more about this here.

Do you print your digital album?
No. I designed my digital open album for display on television.

How do you save your album?
On CD's and USB cards. Also DVD slideshows are always a crowd pleaser.

What kind of camera do you use?
I have a Canon EOS Rebel with EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Lens. I also carry a Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4.0-5.6 IS II Telephoto Zoom Lens. I am in love with this lens. Perfect for snapping away at sporting events. I am considering a Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 USM Standard & Medium Telephoto Lens but not sure if I would use it enough to balance out the cost.

Galleries?
I keep my gallery at  Two Peas in a Bucket current. Although I frequent many digital scrap stores.
I share links to products at the end of all my project posts.

Have you been on any Creative Teams?
In 2010 and 2011,  I created for many wonderful designers including: Tami Miller DesignsWild Blueberry Ink, Joey Lynn Designs, Allison PenningtonLinda Tieu, Makita StudioLilley Scrap Designs,  EH Studios, Karla Dudley, Jen Balding, Tina Marie, Miss Mis Designs and many more. I tried to link to each designers website if available.

Shop? Do you sell your designs?
No.  But as my subscribers grow, this is something I would love to do some day.  I am currently looking into options.

Freebies?
Why do you give your designs away for free?
Well, I thought that maybe if I was crazy about something I made then you would be too.  Plus, I know how happy it makes me to search and find digital freebies. So why not?

If you have a product you would like me to review and it. Contact me. If I feel it fits well with the content of this blog I would love to.

Do you write bible studies?
I wrote Resolutions. The beginning of 2010, the year that changed our lives forever.

Do you lead bible studies?
Only online. Not in a church. Not anymore. This is something that my heart strings pull toward. But since I cannot study and write 24/7, due to life's current season.  I have decided I must give my 110% to homeschooling my children and taking care of my family.  I do however participate online. I enjoy Beth Moores blog Living Proof. I read like a mad woman. I do post to Good Reads often. Occasionally I will throw up a book review or lead a book study. This is something I will post way in advance so there will be no surprise posts. We just completed building our home and are finishing up the final touches. The future office looks bright for this blog of mine. You can read more about this on my about page.

How long have you been homeschooling?
Since 2007.  Yes, I suppose, I'm homeschool veteran now.  You can read more on my about page.

How do you do all you do?
I don't. I do what I can do and have learned not to fret over things, not compare what I do to what others do and not to stay up all night trying to please others. I am no good and grumpy if I'm stressed out trying to meet a deadline. So what to do?  Plan. Plan. Plan. Organize. Organize. Organize and that doesn't always happen. This is a big one, Patience. Patience. Patience especially for the homeschool Mom. Pray, Pray, Pray. This one works. Pray like you've never prayed before. Oh and journal, journal daily. This works too. Believe me I have much, much, much to work on. Constant Progress. And train yourself to say no,  it's okay.

What inspires you?
My family. Outdoors. Interior Designs. People. Architecture. Travel. Restaurants. Everything. Inspiration is everywhere.

Are you always so hyper when you talk type?
Yes.
